A middle-aged woman was shot in her behind by her gun during an examination procedure in a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a medical imaging technique that uses a magnetic field and computer-generated radio waves to create detailed images of the organs and tissues in your body.
Most MRI machines are large, tube-shaped magnets. When you lie inside an MRI machine, the magnetic field works with radio waves and hydrogen atoms in your body to create cross-sectional images—like slices in a loaf of bread.

WSB-TV 75 Years reports that the 57-year-old woman was shot in the behind after the machine's magnet grabbed the weapon when she was being tested, causing it to go off and do the unthinkable.
The incident was sent to the Food and Drug Administration as an "adverse event" report. The injury was reported as "minor."
According to the FDA report, the injured woman was asked if she was carrying a weapon, and she answered, "no."
The medical report did not, however, reveal the details of the woman, such as her name or where the incident occurred.
In another story, the police were called to investigate an incident where an officer attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) took his own life.
The junior officer, who is a driver, allegedly shot himself at the DCI's headquarters along Kiambu Road.
TUKO.co.ke learnt that his colleagues heard the gunshot in the parking lot, and when they rushed to check, they found his lifeless body lying on the car seat.
