The couple's daughter, Njeri, turned four, and they threw her a flashy party attended by a few celebrities and their kids, including Jackie Matubia and Lugz Kenya.
Kate filmed her daughter playing with Peppa Pig's mascot, noting that she had wanted the mascot at her party

The two exes showered their child with love, and in his message, Phil said:
"Happiest birthday to the best Gift given to me. The reason I get up every day. Happiest birthday Njeri ."
On the other hand, Kate wrote:
"World stop. Njeri turns four today. Happy birthday to the most precious little girl . We love you so much, our little baby genius. May God protect you and favour you all the days of your life . Happy birthday baby C.E.O."
Kate and Phil make first public appearance since breakup
The award-winning actress shared videos and photos with her and her ex-husband standing beside each other at the party as they cut cake with their child.
The mother of two also filmed Phil as he served food. The two exes were all smiling at their daughter's big day.

Previously, TUKO.co.ke reported that the two parted ways after 10 years together. On Tuesday, September 19, Kate and Phil jointly issued a statement announcing they had gone separate ways.
"We came to a conclusion to end our marriage a long while ago and are separated. We sincerely request everyone to honour our wishes for privacy for us and our children," read the statement.
Kate met the content creator many moons ago while shooting the Mother-in-law TV show, and in a previous media interview, the mother of two revealed that Phil disliked her.
Kate also revealed that she and Phil dated for four years before getting married. They were married for almost six years.
