Kiambu - Detectives attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have recovered a car that was stolen along Thika Road.

The owner of the car, a taxi driver was robbed of the vehicle at gunpoint.

However, on the morning of Wednesday, December 6, Sikika Road Safety, through its official page, confirmed that the vehicle had been recovered.

"The vehicle has been secured at Murera and it's currently at Juja Police Station. DCI and our followers great job," Sikika Road Safety said.

Earlier, Sikika Road Safety had appealed to Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki to act on the matter.

"This vehicle was stolen at gun point at Thika road when an online driver received a request from a client...… they took the driver to the forest and robbed him everything...…if you see it reach us on 0707861787 we secure it," the post reads in part.

Why did a Kiambu man forcefully enter into someone's car?

In a related story, TUKO.co.ke reported that a Kiambu man forcefully entered a motorist's car, hanging from the driver's window and accusing the driver of stealing his phone.

The chaotic scene unfolded on the outskirts of Juja, Kiambu county, creating a spectacle that drew onlookers and left many bewildered.

The video, posted on Facebook by user Derrick Mbugua, showed the man initially hanging from the driver's window, appearing to have forcibly accessed the interior of the car.

"This happened today morning pande za juja. Jamaa ameingilia kwa dirisha ya dereva akakwama na dereva hadi ampatie simu," Mbugua captioned the video.

With the help of bystanders, he eventually emerged from the vehicle through the passenger side, only to reenter moments later, adamant about confronting the driver.

As the commotion escalated, the crowd questioned the man's actions, to which he responded by alleging that the driver had stolen his phone.

How the Kiambu man kept on fighting back

After the man was pulled out of the car for the first time, he reentered, determined to pursue his claim against the driver.

Mbugua described the vehicle as resembling an online taxi and mentioned that after the confrontation, the driver allegedly dumped the man in a nearby bush.

"After this, he was dumped in the Bush kama ameumizwa vibaya sana," he wrote.

The video sparked a flurry of reactions on social media, with netizens expressing shock and curiosity about the bizarre encounter.
