What happened to Levis Otieno?

In the year 2020, NTV reported that Levis Otieno Rabah from Migori county, who scored 390 marks in KCPE, embarked on his education at Kanga High School with nothing but a metal box and two bars of soap, as provided by his parents.

According to his modest mother, the family faced financial constraints that prevented them from purchasing a bag, uniform, going shopping, or covering his school fees.

"There is no money to buy him shoes, bag, socks, uniform, shopping or pay his school fees. we have nothing," she stated.

Otieno earnestly appealed to benevolent Kenyans for assistance in navigating through high school, given his parents' lack of income to support him.

Despite persistent attempts to secure a bursary proving futile, leaving them feeling hopeless in their endeavour to facilitate his education, the young boy remained resolute in his determination to enhance his future.
