A Kenyan man who claimed to be unable to sleep because of his crush has given an update on the state of their relationship.

Kiiru laments being unable to sleep because of lady he likes

Earlier, the man, Kiiru, James Kiiru, had taken to his TikTok, where he disclosed that he could not sleep because he was thinking of a lady he was in love with.

He explained that he had never felt that way towards any other lady, adding that he lights up whenever he thinks of her.

He lamented his feelings, adding that the lady in question had not given him any impression that she felt the same way he did.

"My problem is every time I think about this particular person I am out here smiling, I am glowing but my God I feel like she thinks I am not serious. She thinks it's a joke or maybe she's with someone else, I don't know....But my God It has never hit me this hard.....This is the real deal bana," he said at the time.

How Kiiru's crush reacted to his advances

However, in his latest TikTok post, Kiiru disclosed that he and his crush had finally started dating.

"Love is Real,Mungu alicheza thru pass Mwenda!" he captioned the video.

According to Kiiru, most of his fans advised him to open up to her and be clear about his intentions, which he did.

The smitten man explained that he tried to message the lady in question but could not find the words, finally resorting to sending her a WhatsApp voice note in which he poured his heart out to her.

"I told her how she drives me insane, how incredible she is and how much I would want for her to consider me and give me a chance to prove myself," he said.

The lady responded much to Kiiru's amazement.

The young man disclosed that since then, they have been in touch and are even going out on a date.

"It's been incredible...we are going on a date pretty soon," he revealed promising to go above and beyond d to woo her.

In another story, social media was abuzz with a viral conversation between a rich Nigerian man and his crush on WhatsApp.

The young man went straight to the point about his intentions towards the lady and warned her not to inquire about who gave him her number.

In the conversation, he made it clear that he was in love with her and had seen her several times.

He went ahead to list out his properties, revealing that he had money, and two cars and wanted her to be his girlfriend.
