Businessman Mwenda Thuranira has taken to social media to express his gratitude to his wife, Venessa Magiri, for their enduring love story.
In a post on Instagram, he showed appreciation for his wife's patience and the decision not to "eat fare" when they were still dating.
For the uninitiated, eating fare is a common term in the Kenyan dating scene where a woman asks a man to facilitate her visit only to skip the meeting.

Thuranira shared a photo of himself lovingly feeding Venessa, indicating they were still together after two decades because she availed herself for their first meeting.
"Not eating fare and being patient with a man for 20 years can lead to a deep emotional connection, build trust and loyalty," he wrote.
He added that such commitments help navigate challenges, foster personal growth, and provide lasting love and companionship.
Thuranira asserts that investing time and effort into understanding and supporting a partner is the bedrock of a resilient relationship.
He advised young single women to resist seeking immediate gratification from men looking to date them.
"Hakuna kula fare ama namna gani warembo?" the Myspace Properties founder said.
The message resonated with the couple's journey through life, symbolizing the sacrifices and compromises in their relationship.
His sentiments come just one week after he surprised Venessa with a Mercedes Benz, carefully selected in her favourite red colour.
Thuranira expressed that the gift was a small token of his deep appreciation for his wife's unwavering support and love throughout their journey together.
"She has been my rock, motivating me to build our empire," he said, adding that without her, there would be no Mwenda Thuranira," he praised.
