Pastor Ezekiel Says He, Wife Sarah Are School Dropouts: "Tulikosa School Fees"

Televangelist Pastor Ezekiel Odero and his wife, Sarah Wanzu, are among the most celebrated religious couples around.

Why Pastor Ezekiel, Sarah dropped out of school

Pastor Ezekiel revealed he and his wife did not complete school during the Sunday, January 7 service while praying for children returning to school.

Among the children were hundreds being sponsored by the famous televangelist.

"Pastor Sarah and I lacked school fees, and that is why we have decided to help you study and never lack school fees. I never completed college. I was at the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) and dropped out in my second year due to lack of school fees.

But for you, none of you will drop out of school. You will study until college," the man of God said.

The congregants burst into jubilation as they clapped and cheered after receiving the good news.

Pastor Ezekiel reveals wife studied until Class 3

Separately, on Sunday, March 26, 2023, Pastor Ezekiel professed his love for Sarah, revealing she studied up to Class 3.

"Mama yenu (your spiritual mum) Pastor Sarah nampenda hivo na amesoma hadi Class 3. Sio Kizungu, sura au figure huleta ndoa (I love her the way she is. Marriage is not all about your eloquence in English, beauty or well-endowed figure)," he said.

The 45-year-old man of God added:

"Nyota ya ndoa utaolewa hata kama mwanaume hataki na hutabembeleza mwanaume. Atakuita babe, sweetie... (When the wedding date is set, even if the man doesn't want to and you won't beg the man. He'll call you babe, sweetie)."

The founder of New Life Church and his beautiful wife have been married for 17 years and are blessed with two children.

The bold man of the cloth recently revealed he had no secrets and shared everything with his wife.

While preaching about relationships in a past Sunday service, Pastor Ezekiel said he shared his phone with his wife.

"Nikipata email ama messages kwa simu yangu, pia yeye anapata. Kilichoshikanishwa na Mungu kisitenganishwe na binadamu (If I receive an email or messages on my phone, he also receives them. What God has joined together, let no man separate). My marriage might not be the best, but I'm just trying to explain to you..." he said.
