Renowned veteran preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari has recalled losing everything when he was implicated in a scandal.

Why Betty Bayo left Pastor Kanyari

The pastor was allegedly accused of fraud in an investigative piece, where he was seen asking for money from his congregants to pray for their troubles.

When the investigation report by Mohamed Ali and John Allan Namu aired, many people ditched his church, and he later parted ways with his wife.

In a TikTok video, the pastor reflected on that moment and revealed how that scandal made him lose everything.

"My wife left me. My wife and kids left. Life became so hard. I only remained with my parents. I lost money. My congregants left me. But there is one thing I refused, and it is being discouraged," he said.

Kanyari bonds with kids at mall

A day ago, TUKO.co.ke featured the man of God after delighting netizens with a video of bonding with his two children.

The clip depicted Kanyari wearing a yellow t-shirt and dark trousers while walking in a mall. His son playfully tugged at his arms as they walked, indicating a tight bond.

Kanyari then put an arm across his daughter's shoulder, and the young girl seemed pleased.
