The Mzungu woman's mother-in-law donned beautiful African attire and called her to introduce her to the outdoor event.
She recognised her as her firstborn son's wife before she handed her the microphone as guests clapped.
"Habari senu? My name is Marion," she said before the master of ceremony, who was stunned by her accent, interrupted her.
He said he expected her to have a foreign accent but was surprised she had imbibed the Luo accent.
"I come from Bondo," the lady said, leaving the guests in stitches with her broken Swahili, as seen in the hilarious clip.
Many social media users flocked to the comment section, as they also expressed their mixed reactions.

A Sunday, September 3 video captured in Gesusu, Kisii county, depicted the man being interviewed in the language, and his mastery was impressive.
Nicknamed Nyakundi, the Romanian national was asked about the differences between his country and Kenya.
"There are many good things here. I like the weather. My home country is very cold. We cannot grow many foods," he said.
Nyakundi admitted falling in love with Ekegusii foods, including porridge and ugali made from millet flour.
He encouraged Kenyans to pursue education as it was the key to success.
“Be careful about the courses you pick- there are many jobs not only in Kenya. You can look for work abroad on the internet and work remotely.”
