Nairobi - Nairobi Regional Commander Adamson Bungei has assured Kenyans that security is on high alert during the summit.

"The entire city of Nairobi is covered with enough deployment to provide security for any person who will be visiting. You are free to interact and do business in Nairobi," Bungei said.

Bungei clarified that delegates with proper documentation can go into the red zone.

"Those who have been given documentation to attend the summit will access the red zone," he said.

He urged Kenyans to use alternative roads from Monday, 4 - 6 September, as four roads within Nairobi's CBD will be closed due to the Africa Climate Summit.
