Africa Climate Summit: List Of Presidents Expected In Nairobi For 4-Day Continental Function

Nairobi - At least 30,000 delegates are anticipated for the Africa Climate Summit, which begins on Monday and is expected to draw over 20 heads of state to Nairobi.

John Kerry, the US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, Arif Alvi, Mary Robinson, the former president of Ireland, António Guterres, the first education minister of Mozambique, Graca Machel, and top USAID officials are among the other high-level delegations anticipated to attend.

The summit's first visitor was President Évariste Ndayishimiye of Burundi, who is also the head of the East African Community (EAC).

Ndayishimiye was received by Kenya's Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua.
