Tanzanian star Ali Kiba's estranged wife has threatened to sue Diamond Platnumz in what she terms as a defamatory social media post.

Amina to sue Diamond

Acting through her legal representatives, Amina issued a formal demand letter to singer Diamond Platnumz.

The letter seeks an apology and the retraction of what Amina deems to be false, malicious, and defamatory statements posted on social media by the Jeje hitmaker.

Amina's legal team firmly asserted that there has never been any unprofessional, immoral, or suspicious relationship between Kiba's estranged wife and Diamond, contrary to the allegations made by the latter.

The demand letter explicitly calls upon the father of four to compose a written apology and to expeditiously retract the aforementioned statement.

It further stipulated that Diamond is required to fulfil this action within a span of seven days.

Should he fail to comply with these demands within the stipulated timeframe, he will be confronted with legal proceedings encompassing both civil and criminal litigation.

In such an event, Diamond would be held accountable for all costs arising from these legal proceedings.

Diamond responds

Through his lawyer, the singer responded to Amina's demand, sighting that Kiba's estranged wife was not the 'Amina' he mentioned in his post.

Diamond had previously stated in his beef with Kiba:

"Habari zangu na Amina nazani unazijua (I think my you have heard of my stories with Amina...," part of his statement read.

Through his lawyers, he responded, and the letter read in part:

" It is the stance of our client that, the name 'Amina' does not make reference to your client and even if it was, your client's allegation or interpretation of the alleged statements are made out of latent or secondary meaning...."

Amina responds to Diamond mentioning her name

After Diamond and Kiba's online beef, Amina responded to the Jeje hitmaker.

She termed the feud a grudge between the two, and it was unfair to involve innocent parties.

She wrote:

"It is absurd, malicious, and ultimately weird involving innocent humans in conflicts/grudges. I condemn high level of disrespect on women. Without feelings of respect, what is there to distinguish men from beasts? Human decency is inviolable!”
