Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Paul Ongili, popularly known as Babu Owino, has offered to stretch a helping hand to struggling Benga singer Atommy Sifa.
Atommy was facing difficulties paying his daughter's school fees at Moi Girls High School.
The lawmaker reached out to the musician after hearing about his situation.
Why did Babu help Atommy Sifa?
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Atommy said Babu had contacted him after his passionate appeal for help and promised to pay the school fees for the young lady.

"Babu Owino is one of my longtime fans. He heard about my plight and contacted me. He has promised to clear my daughter's school fees," Atommy said.
Atommy's reaction to Babu's support
The artiste expressed excitement about the warm gesture and thanked the outspoken parliamentarian for helping him.
"I'm so pleased. I want to thank Babu for rescuing me. He has wiped my tears and I am grateful. He is one in a million and I pray God to grant him all his desires," he said.
Atommy Sifa introduces young son
Previously, the singer revealed that his son is in Form One.
He explained that his son's schooling is one of the driving forces behind his hard work and perseverance.
In a video, the singer asked his fans for their support in raising the necessary school fees for his son.
"Meet my son. We are here in Nairobi. He is one of the reasons I'm working hard. He is in Form One. I beg your help to raise school fees for my son. That's my only request my daughter is at Moi Girls and another one finished high school. I just need school fees," he said.
Why is Atommy asking for more donations?
On Sunday, August 27, the singer responded to online speculations regarding a supposed donation of a complete set of band instruments by Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo.
In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the singer refuted the claims.
He stated that he had only received a drum set valued at KSh 100,000 from the PS.
Atommy said he still needs donations to buy all the essential band equipment, including guitars, eight speakers, and a power amplifier.
