A Mzungu woman has narrated how she met and fell in love with a Kenyan from the slums while still in another relationship.

German social worker smitten by Kibera man

Leni, a 24-year-old social worker, met Vincent Otieno alias Vinn, 23, from the Kibera slums two years ago and decided to remain in Kenya.

Narrating how they met, Vinn, a bodybuilder and dancer, said a friend invited him to perform at an event.

“I did not want to go, but the friend insisted, and I obliged. That is where I met her.”

Leni said it was her first weekend in Kenya for a six-month internship at Korogocho when they ran into each other.

"Some boys were trying to talk to us but were too much, but Vinn was different. We were vibing, and he was distant.”

Vinn asked if she wanted his Instagram, but she initially refused. However, she followed him and got his handle when he was about to leave.

When they met, Leni disclosed that she was in a relationship with another Mzungu in Germany.

"It was complicated, and I told him. We started as friends before eventually starting dating.

It was a confusing time. I met with myself to establish what I wanted before we started dating. I broke up with my Mzungu ex via a video call. It was never easy.”

Leni said her mother approved of the relationship, saying all that mattered was her happiness.

Vinn’s family also supported them.

The dancer disclosed that one major challenge they face is people hiking prices when they see him with a Mzungu.

“They double the prices of commodities, and matatu touts often ask to keep change.”

German Mzungu pours water into cabbage

Vinn previously left TikTokers rolling on the ground after sharing a video of Leni cooking cabbage.

She stirred the sufuria before pouring a copious amount of water.

Netizens jokingly said that Leni girlfriend was a long-lost sister from Central Kenya.
