Grace Msalame Opens Up About Lover Being Diagnosed With Life-Threatening Illness, Losing 2 Jobs: "God Knows"

• She revealed her partner was diagnosed with a life-threatening disease in 2021 and a year later she lost her two sources of income
• Although she is unsure of how her partner's health will be, she said she rooted herself in Christ for strength and is learning to appreciate time with loved ones

Media personality Grace Msalame has revealed that she has been going through a rough season with her loved one.

Grace Msalame on dealing with uncertainties

While sharing her story on Engage Talk, Msalame disclosed that her partner, whom she did not identify, was, in 2021, diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

According to her, the news reminded her of the moment she lost her dad in 2010 after returning home after a public break-up.

"That put everything on pause. I was numb, angry, and confused because after all this time, and we had been through a rough patch a year before, I thought the worst was behind us. I could not think this could happen again. There is nothing like facing death head-on that leaves you asking so many questions, why? Why now? Even why us?" she said.

She also disclosed that she asked herself how to start again and in the process disclosed that she lost her two sources of income which stretched things.

"Right after my partner's illness, a year later, I lost two sources of income. In this economy, with this finance bill, that is huge. I still cannot believe it is going through. I just felt like this is a wrong timing, one thing after the other. Like you just can't catch a break," she said.

Msalame said that despite things being tough, she has anchored herself in Christ who has helped her when she's lost strength.

"I'm still in the thick of things, I don't know what the future holds and how it is going to look like with my partner's condition, our finances, all of us," she said.

Msalame shows off posh living room

The media personality in May, displayed her new Samsung television set she bought as Mother's Day gift.

The lovely piece of technology also came with a soundbar, as Msalame highlighted while taking off the screen protector of the television.

She also shared a snippet of her amazing living room fitted with posh sofas, a fireplace and beautiful lights.
