Kiambu - A Kiambu man has confronted a local butcher man after discovering that the seven kilograms of meat he had bought from the shop weighed significantly less.

The man from Juja explained he was surprised to find out that he had been shortchanged after unpacking the steak he bought from his local butchery in Kimbo.

Speaking to Inooro TV, Joel Waicere said upon discovering that the butchery had seemingly defrauded him, he rushed back to make complaints in anticipation he could get a satisfactory explanation and compensation.

"I took the meat and went back to the butchery. But trust me, they did not even negotiate with me. They just took the meat, and refunded my money in cash yet I had paid via M-Pesa. They then asked me to exit their premises," he said.
