Gift-giving within romantic relationships is often seen as a symbol of affection and care, and many people attach sentimental value to items received from their partners. When a relationship ends, the fate of these gifts can become a sensitive issue.

While some people choose to keep the gifts as mementoes, others might feel uncomfortable holding onto items that are linked to past memories.

One lady commented, narrating how her lover repossessed gifts he had bought her.

"Mine bought me a TV na woofer days later we had small issues and he came back n took them," she said.

The lady explained that her man had spare keys to her house, and he went there and took the gifts while she was away at work.
