A leopard that tried to hunt a troop of baboons found itself in the soup after tables turned, and it had to run for dear life with angry animals in hot pursuit.

In an intriguing video by the Latest Sightings -Kruger, the leopard was initially running after the baboons, hellbent on getting one, and they scampered in different directions, trying to save themselves from becoming the big cat's dinner.

However, things changed in the blink of an eye when the carnivorous animal caught up with one of the baboons; the rest turned back and fought tooth and nail to save one of their own.

Not to be outdone, the leopard put up a brave fight, and the fact that he was outnumbered did not make him fail to at least try.

Finally, the baboons carried the day and chased the leopard deep into the thicket. Social media users who saw the video were amused at the turn of events, with many hailing the power of teamwork

In another story, five leopards invaded the Kilonito area in Jajiado West and went on a rampage, killing and eating animals in sight.

They ate people's livestock before they were chased away, and dogs set against them led to the death of one leopard.
