A man who wore grass and disguised himself as a bush to prank unsuspecting people found himself in soup after a startled passerby jumped up and slapped him hard when he tried the joke on him.

Man regains composure in dramatic twist

The TikTok video started with the passerby, a young man going about his business passed by and the bushman jumped out of nowhere to prank him.

Very few people would remain standing if a moving bushman accosted them, and the teen was no exception he dramatically jumped into the air with a funny sound and reacted with a hot slap that made the shocked bushman scamper to where he came from.

After realising it was just a prank, the passerby regained his composure and even threw the camera person a fetching smile and a peace sign.

Most netizens who saw the video were amused by the last part when the man calmed down, while others wondered what would have happened if had a panga.

Elsewhere, a woman and her friend were the targets of a camouflaged trickster in the bustling streets of Nairobi; however, they did not fall for his prank.

One of the women instinctively went into defence mode and took a wild swing at the prankster, who was seated in a flower vase.

Netizens said she gave a dose of his own medicine to the content creator and praised her swift actions.
