Renowned radio presenter Melody Sinzore was left emotional during her recent visit to Busia after a devoted fan expressed adoration in ways she didn't envision.

The Jambo Kenya host told TUKO.co.ke that when she bumped into the fan, he was so excited that he wanted to gift her something memorable.

However, there was nothing in the vicinity that he could buy for her, so he quickly figured the best was to remove his shirt and gift it to her as a souvenir.

The emotional exchange was filmed by one of the other fans, capturing the evident expression of pure adoration and the man handed over the shirt to Melody.

Melody, visibly moved by the fan's passionate display of affection, embraced him in a heartfelt hug before walking away with the memorable item.

"It was a touching moment that will remain etched in my mind, and I believe in the fan's memory too," she said.

The melodious presenter added that such gestures may seem little but they mean a lot to her as a public figure.

She added that she's working on getting a memorabilia cabinet where she will be keeping all the artefacts and presents she receives during her tours.

Omuse gifted KSh 100k boots by Rodrigo

The culture of giving out jerseys and other pieces of items to fans as memorabilia is common in sports, especially football.

In the most recent incident, Spanish international footballer Rodrigo Moreno gave a pair of autographed soccer boots valued at KSh 100,000 to emerging soccer sensation Joseph Omuse.

Omuse, who was rescued from the streets of Bungoma 12 years ago, steered St Anthony Boys' High School to victory at the recently concluded national high school games.

Rodrigo has represented the Spain national team at the World Cup and previously played for both Real Madrid and Leeds United, which makes the souvenir special.
