Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko recently had a harrowing experience while dining at a local restaurant.

Sonko took to Instagram account to share a disturbing video showing a piece of bound copper wire which he had allegedly found in his food.

The flamboyant politician noted that while he was enjoying a meal at the restaurant, he discovered a piece of copper wire.

He expressed his horror, stating that the wire nearly caused him to choke.

"Karibu iniuwe hii kitu. Why achukue wire aniwekee kwa chakula? Nani amepika hii chakula? (It almost choked me to death. Why would someone put such in my food?)" Sonko posed.

The video showed Sonko demanding answers from the restaurant in question and calling for the staff to be brought to explain how the wire found its way into his food.

"Tena ameikunja akaiweka tomato vizuri. Wameniwekea by mistake ama ni intentional?" (They have bounded the wire and laced it in tomatoes. Is this intentional or a mistake?) he is heard asking in the video.

Sonko captioned the post:

"Thank you, Lord, for being faithful. The devil is a liar."

Sonko offers reward for arrest of Isaac Juma's killer

On Saturday, January 29, 2022, TUKO.co.ke reported Sonko offered a KSh 100,000 reward to anyone with information about AFC Leopards fan Isaac Juma's killers.

Juma, a renowned soccer fanatic, was hacked to death on Wednesday night, January 26, at his native home in Ebuyenjere village, Mumias sub-county, Kakamega county.

The politician offered to help the detectives in pursuing the perpetrators of the murder before subjecting them to justice.

He pledged the amount to motivate the members of the public to produce information regarding the whereabouts of the killers to face justice.

Directorate of Criminal Investigation, through a Tweet, announced they had arrested a suspect in connection to the brutal murder.
