A 24-year-old mother named Izabele made a startling discovery while browsing social media.

Lomax stumbled upon a video of herself breastfeeding her child while scrolling through Facebook.

Is breastfeeding in public spaces wrong?

The clip was accompanied by a strongly-worded caption criticising women who breastfeed openly without covering up.

The caption on the clip read:

"I'm not shaming women who breastfeed their babies. I'm shaming the women who breastfed in public with no respect to cover themselves up and just letting their bo*bs hang out for everyone to see! Cover tf up.

The post continued;

"I shouldn't have to cover my son's eyes and explain why your b*obs are out, and quite frankly, I don't want to see it either. Have some respect! For real, cover yourself up; what the f**k is wrong with people?"

Upon discovering the post, Lomax decided to respond in a powerful and unconventional manner.

She took to TikTok, posting a video of herself apparently shirtless and breastfeeding her child.

In the video, she addressed the incident head-on, speaking passionately about the situation.

"Imagine waking up, getting on Facebook, and seeing this video of yourself yesterday at the beach," she began her commentary.

Lomax went on to address the woman who had taken the video without her consent.

She expressed her disappointment at the person's choice to publicly shame her rather than engage in a direct conversation.

"Not only did this woman walk past me multiple times with her son, you had every opportunity in the world to say something to me," Lomax explained.

She acknowledged that even if the person had confronted her, it wouldn't have deterred her from breastfeeding in public.

Separately, a video that captured a husband’s loving act of feeding his wife while she was feeding their child on a public bus went viral.

The clip showed the couple’s sweet moment during their transit to another place and the man’s kindness of offering his wife bites of food as she was holding and nursing their little baby on her lap.

The new mother gratefully opened her mouth to receive the food from her husband as she simultaneously fed her child with her milk.
