Sean Andrew, the grandson of former Kenyan president Mwai Kibaki, has revealed to quit dating apps after finding them unfulfilling and superficial.

The good-looking young man confessed that peer pressure had initially led him to join the platforms, but he was disappointed with their interactions and connections.

Sean Andrew disappointed in dating sites

Andrew's experience is not uncommon, as many people have turned to dating apps in the hope of finding meaningful relationships.

These platforms promise a convenient way to meet potential partners, but they often need to deliver the genuine connections that individuals seek.

The allure of virtual conversations may be tempting, but they cannot replace the value of face-to-face interactions that allow for a deeper understanding of one another.

Fake interactions ending in futility

In his interview with YouTubers, Andrew lamented the prevalence of fake conversations on dating apps, which left him feeling unfulfilled and dissatisfied.

He noted that such interactions needed to have the essence of a true connection, as they were confined within the digital confines of the app and rarely progressed to real-life meetings.

For Andrew, the heart of a genuine relationship lies in the ability to engage all five senses when communicating with someone.

"I left them because there are rubbish interactions. It is all conversation and you never leave the app. You don't meet in person. So why are you making worthy connections? I like conversations where humans meet in person.
There is no business in being locked in these electronic devices. When making a genuine connection with someone, you need to talk face to face, touch and understand all five senses. And you don't get that from the app," he said.

Sean Andrew didn't find love

He disclosed he is still single and added:

"It was useless; it was non-generic. You meet beautiful, and they are boring."

Sean Andrew refuses to dance with Manzi Wa Kibera

Separately, Andrew held a meet and greet with his followers in Westlands Nairobi.

Seeing an opportunity to meet Sean, Manzi Wa Kibera showed up at the event.

A video captured at the venue depicted the socialite talking to the model before asking for a dance.

The socialite danced to Buga by Kizz Daniela and Tekno while moving her ample waist.

However, Andrew would not give in to her request for a dance as she laughed, seemingly embarrassed.
