Kamba gospel musician Stephen Kasolo has revealed that he did not have an easy time in school since he came from a very poor background.

Kasolo's uniform had big patches

It is also common knowledge that Kasolo was orphaned as a small boy, and he, therefore, had a very difficult time during his childhood.

"When I was in school, my uniform was torn, and my pair of shorts had two patches sewn on them. The uniform was completely torn, and I told the devil that I will one day have money for a pair of uniforms," he said.

"Those who saw me suffering just know that God finally helped me. I could not afford uniform but I can afford an iPhone 14 Promax," he added.

Kasolo also called out his Maths teacher at Katulani Secondary for constantly torturing him and calling him a slow learner.

"Where are you? I forgave him anyway," he added.

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke Kasoloshared that his sister once gave out her school uniform so they could make a shirt and a pair of shorts for him.

"She stayed home for a year until she got a new one. Sadly, she died before I could help her," Kasolo narrated.

Kasolo can count cash despite poor Math abilities

Kasolo scored As in all the other subjects, but maths was his Archile heel.

"I wasn't very good in maths, but when it comes to counting money, I'm very good," he said while counting wads of cash.
"God has remembered me; I can manage my accounts, count my daughter's teeth and manage my life," he added on Stephen Kasolo YouTube channel.

Kasolo disclosed that he went to university, and although his course had a Math subject, he passed with flying colours.

Kasolo shows off his new house

In another story, Kasolo showed off his executive apartment weeks after tying the knot with his wife.

The open-plan house featured balconies, well-done kitchen cabinets, dainty chandeliers, executive bulbs, and a huge flower-shaped bulb in the kitchen.

On YouTube, Kasolo revealed that he and his wife plan to have more children and gave fans a virtual tour of his daughter's bedroom, which she will share with a little brother or sister in future
