Whitman stated that even political analysts have previously agreed that the 2022 elections were the fairest.

"Kenya held what many analysts and commentators say was the freest, fairest and most credible election in Kenyan history," she added amid cheers from the crowd.

The ambassador recalled arriving in the country a few days before the elections and said she learned much

Where are the Cherera 4?

In another development, the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party leader weighed in on the August 9 General Election for the umpteenth time.

Raila said the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) constitution continues to be contentious.

The ODM leader disclosed that embattled IEBC commissioners Juliana Cherera and Irene Masit were hiding in the United States, alleging threats from the government.

"We were competing, and we had referees and six linesmen in the IEBC. Out of the seven, only three said Ruto had won, and four said he did not win. They said the ball was offside.

The referees who said no have been exiled, as I speak now, two of them, Cherera and Masit are in America because they were looking for them, they wanted to kill them," Raila told mourners in Emali, Makueni county.
