Vihiga Resident Dismisses William Ruto's Visit, Accuse Him Campaigning: "Hakuna Faida"

• A man from Vihiga has dismissed President William Ruto's tour of the county as a campaign rally disguised as a development tour
• He claimed the health facilities planned for launching by the head of state were constructed by the county government
• The man futher alleged that Ruto was going to launch a project he previously launched as the Deputy President

Vihiga - A resident of Luanda has dismissed President William Ruto's tour of the Western region.

Dubbed development tours, the head of state has been a man on the move since July, going on tours of various regions across the country.

Ahead of his visit of Vihiga county, a local has stated that they will benefit nothing from the high profile visit.

He pointed out that the health facilities that Ruto would visit were all under the county administration and not the national government.

The man further claimed that the head of state would for the second time commission a road he commissioned as the deputy of retired president Uhuru Kenyatta.

"There's no benefit that William Ruto has brought to us, the people of Vihiga. The roads he's coming to walk on and launch, like the one from Sosa to Shamakhokho, he himself inaugurated when he was Deputy President. The other road, Mululu, it was Musalia who requested Uhuru Kenyatta, and he laid the foundation and then came to inaugurate it," he said.
