East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP Winnie Odinga has cheered on record-breaking Kenyan chef Mahila Mohammed.

The culinary expert took on a bold challenge to secure her name in the history books by attempting the longest cooking marathon in a home kitchen.
She was aiming for a spot among the extraordinary humans in Guinness World Records.

With a radiant smile, Winnie entered Mahila's bustling kitchen, where a symphony of aromatic flavours filled the air.
Amidst the clanging of pots and harmonious sizzles, the bond between the two was evident.
In a video shared on Instagram, Winnie and Mahila were seen in a chit-chat as she went for the record.
"History in the making! @chefmalihamohammed_official has already thrown down a world record! Now let’s get to 90 hours just to make the point," Odinga wrote.

Kenyans support chef Mahila
The kitchen, typically Mahila's domain, also hosted other prominent figures.
Mahila cooked up a storm in her attempt to shatter the world record, and Kenyans threw their weight behind her amazing effort.
Favourites of the celebrity world, including Crazy Kennar, Oga Obinna, and the sensational Nadia Mukami, came together to heighten the supportive ambience.
Obinna, in an Instagram video showed his support expressing confidence Mahila would eclipse the previous world record.
He wrote:
"We are awake now supporting our own Guinness Record holder chef Maliha Mohammed. Go! Go! Team Kenya! 90 hours record about to be set."
Hildah Baci's cooking record
In June, Guinness World Records ratified Nigerian chef Hilda Baci's record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, which lasted 93 hours and 11 minutes.
Baci shattered the previous record by Indian chef Lata London who had cooked for 87 hours, 45 minutes.
"After reviewing all the footage, we're delighted to announce that Hilda Baci is the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon (individual)," Guinness World Records announced on Twitter.
