• Susan discovered wedding photos of Colin and his partner on social media, which indicated that he was referring to himself as divorced

A wife discovered her husband was married to a man when she saw their wedding photos online.

According to Daily Mail, Marcus Wild, 53, from Sneinton, was previously called Colin Parsons but changed his name by deed poll.

He had split from his wife Susan but had not divorced her when he married his new husband.

Susan had previously suspected her husband might be gay and challenged him about this, but it was not well received.

Mirror reports Wild later confirmed he was gay and left their marital home, changing his name.

However, he later married a male partner and declared himself single despite being given clear warnings by the registrar he may have committed an offence if the information was false.

Following the wedding to his new partner, his estranged wife saw his wedding photos on social media.

He used his new name and referred to himself as divorced. It emerged she had attempted to contact Wild for a quick divorce but had not heard anything back.

They never divorced, and she was left tied to him which she did not want.

Wild claimed he was never asked about a previous marriage or previous names, but the court heard it was a thorough process. People are asked several times about previous marriages.

Elsewhere, a man identified as Abraha Ambani elicited mixed after disclosing his wife was married to him and another man.

Speaking to Lulu Hassan on Shajara na Lulu segment, Ambani said he married his wife when he was 25 at a traditional wedding.
