Mariana Alejandra Seoane García (best known as Mariana Seoane) was born June 10, 1976 in Parácuaro, Michoacán, Mexico. As a young child, Seoane already displayed interest in becoming an entertainer. By the time she was a teenager she was singing and acting professionally. She made her acting debut in 1995 on a Televisa telenovela, when she appeared on Retrato de Familia (Family Photo), alongside Alfredo Adame, Helena Rojo and Julio Bracho. In 1996, Seoane played Sandra in Los Hijos de Nadie (Nobody's Children), where she acted with Puerto Rican Osvaldo Ríos. She went on to play roles in a soap opera geared toward teenagers (Cancion de Amor) and several telenovas before taking a two-year hiatus, returning in 1999 to star as Adriana in Amor Gitrano (Gypsy Love).
