The video, which quickly went viral, shows Wothaya expertly holding chalk, applying lip balm, and even pinching students' ears when necessary, without any hindrance from her long nails.
"How I operate with long nails," she captioned the video.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Wothaya addressed some of the common stereotypes associated with having long nails.
"Well, no matter what I’m going through… my nails are always done. And honestly, one of the first things I notice about a woman is if her nails are done, and if they are, then I know that’s a woman who tends to care about her appearance," she said.
Wothaya emphasised that having long nails does not impede her ability to perform daily tasks.
"Having long nails doesn’t mean we can’t carry out day-to-day activities… you learn to work around your nails," she pointed out.
"And if, honestly, there’s a person who struggles functioning with long nails, then it’s not for them. Get a length you can work with," she added.
Her insights and practical demonstration have sparked a conversation about personal style and functionality, challenging the notion that beauty and practicality are mutually exclusive.
Tabby is a trained teacher at Rungiri Secondary School in Kiambu county, and her photos depicting her tattoos went viral.
TUKO.co.ke previously reported that Tabby is keen on equipping her students with classroom knowledge and life skills.
She previously shared a video advising her students after sitting their KCSE examination.
