A Bomet family is mourning the loss of their loved one who allegedly jumped into a flooded river after a disagreement with his drinking partners in the Kipsuter area.

What led to Bomet man's demise?

The deceased is reported to have gotten mad after one of his drinking partners mocked him over his fighting skills.

According to a report by Citizen TV, the man allegedly disagreed with his friends after one of his drinking partners threatened to slap him.

He was angered by those words, prompting him to leave the club and head to the flooded river where he was last seen.

The uncle of the deceased, Paul Sang, said clothing believed to belong to the deceased, including a jacket and shirt, were discovered at the Chepkulo River scene, where he was observed heading following the altercation.

In a statement to the press, Stanley Mutai, the county disaster officer, reported that an unidentified male body was observed being carried away by swift floodwaters approximately 25 kilometers downstream from the site of the initial incident.

The area chief stated that operations to rescue the man is underway

Kajiado man kills himself after killing daughter

In Kajiado County, law enforcement authorities initiated investigations subsequent to the demise of a 58-year-old man and his 16-year-old daughter.
