Veteran comedian turned social activist Eric Omondi has disclosed that he used to support Diamond Platnumz and Tanasha Donna's relationship.

The comedian also opened up about his fatherhood journey and his dreams as a kid that are being fulfilled.

How Eric Omondi supported Tanasha, Diamond's relationship

In an interview with Tanzania's Rick Media, Eric advised Diamond not to consider getting married because he once tried and failed.

"He should not marry; let him relax. He has tried year in and year out. I was the one who gave Tanasha to Diamond. I have no idea where they met, but they used to call me for advice, and I was like their pastor, including their gender reveal," he said.

When is Eric Omondi getting married?

He also shared that he had dreamt of having three daughters since he was a kid and opened up about having his first daughter with his girlfriend, Lynne.

"It feels so nice; God answered my prayers. Since I was a kid, I used to pray that I get kids, three daughters. I have found one. Still two remaining," he said.

When asked if he was planning to get married, the comedian paused for a few seconds and then said:

"We are people who like surprises."

Eric advises men to marry young women

The comedian sparked mixed reactions after advising men to consider marrying women who were half their age.

The 42-year-old comedian claimed that women mature faster than men, so they should go for younger women.

Eric's advice ignited a heated debate online, with some netizens supporting him while others disagreed with his sentiments.

Majority of men also said that they prefer younger women but not those half their age because most are still yet to learn many things about life.
