Africa's fastest man, Ferdinand Omanyala, is happily married to fellow sprinter Laventa. The couple has a son.

In a past interview, Omanyala praised his wife, revealing that she had supported him even before he made it in life.

He said Laventa unconditionally believed in his dream and supported him, even when things seemed bleak at first. He said she used to pay rent, among other bills.

"For me, the pandemic was a blessing in disguise because I trained for six months. I was training without goals and we had no money but thanks to my girlfriend as she was paying the rent and bills because she was working. She would bring money to the table and allocate some to my training, rent and food," he said.

Omanyala and Laventa started dating a few years ago, and they kept their relationship a secret, and in 2018, she got pregnant.

Laventa said when she discovered she was pregnant, both she and Omanyala freaked out.

Omanyala's wife's body goals inspire Kenyans

Recently, the mother of one shared a video from one of her training sessions at the Nyayo Stadium, leaving fans marvelling at her well-toned body.

Women admitted that Laventa looks beautiful and always serves body goals. Some asked her for a routine for a flat tummy and well-toned legs.
