Uasin Gishu - Kapseret residents have faulted MP Oscar Sudi over his remarks that he hardly attends parliamentary sittings.
On Monday, May 28, some residents angrily called for Sudi's resignation, arguing that he had failed them.
They called on the lawmaker to stop moving around the country and participating in Harambee, yet his constituency was suffering.

"We are asking Oscar Sudi, you admitted that you have not been attending parliament sittings. For the last 12 years, what have you been doing? You should step aside if you find it difficult to work for the people of Kapseret," a resident said.
Another resident said they had realised they had made a mistake in electing a leader who could not adequately represent them in the National Assembly.
"Oscar Sudi, the people of Kapseret sent you to parliament to address their issues. It is so shameful that you are addressing the nation, saying you cannot go to parliament to take tea. They messed up because they elected a leader who could not represent them in parliament," another resident stated.
In other news, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party called out a section of its ranking members for what it said was disrespectful conduct.
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, who the party said would be summoned for disciplinary action in due course, topped the list.
Malalah faulted Sudi for disrespecting the party's top brass, to which Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua belongs.
He said Sudi and his ilk had been warned, adding that they would be subjected to disciplinary action should they fail to mend their ways.
