Karen Knowles, a young entrepreneur and owner of a recently launched salon, died after being poisoned during what seemed like a regular outing with friends.

It is alleged that Karen went out with her friends for lunch at a restaurant in town. Later, around 1 pm, her friends accompanied her to board a taxi home.

After negotiations with the cab driver, they paid him excess and made him promise to give Karen the balance upon arrival.

She was reportedly vomiting, urinating, and excreting, prompting the driver to rush her to a nearby medical facility.

Tragically, despite efforts to save her life, medics pronounced her dead at around 4:30 pm, leaving her loved ones in shock and disbelief.

A post-mortem conducted at the hospital determined that Karen had been poisoned, prompting officers to launch a probe to track down the culprits responsible for her death.
