Kosgey revealed that his uncle had spent the money on Aviator, a popular betting game, hoping to win more, but unfortunately, he did not.

On the fateful morning, the deceased man entrusted a friend to oversee the M-Pesa shop, promising to return shortly after running some errands in town.

He was never seen alive again.

All attempts to reach Kipkorir later in the day proved futile, as he did not answer the phones, raising concerns among his relatives.

Heartbreaking letter Kipkorir wrote

A heartbreaking letter dated 11 January was found among Kipkorir's belongings, shedding light on his struggles and state of mind before his death.

The letter addressed to an unidentified boss expressed his exhaustion with life and his desire to end his suffering but acknowledged that his circumstances were not his boss's fault.

"Today, January 11, marks five months since we came to an unfulfilled conclusion," the letter, shared by Albert Kibet Bitok, started.

According to the deceased man, he had been struggling for longer than he can remember, and he was tired of pretending.

In the letter, Kipkorir added that he hoped ending his suffering would bring his soul the peace he had been desperately searching for.

His body was removed and taken to Siloam Hospital Mortuary, where it awaits a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.
