CNN international correspondent Larry Madowo has sparked reactions from netizens after sharing a video online of a leaking roof at Old Trafford.

Madowo appeared to complain that it always rained disrespectfully whenever he went somewhere. He further questioned if he was the problem.

"The roof at Old Trafford leaking so much it’s a waterfall at this point," he said.

After watching the Manchester United versus Arsenal match at Old Trafford, Madowo noticed a leaking roof and flashed out his camera to capture the moment.

Madowo has been in the spotlight countless times for sharing videos depicting the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) shortcomings.

On Wednesday, April 10, Madowo bitterly protested the leaking roofs and poor drainage systems at the JKIA.

The journalist shared a video showing the pathetic state of JKIA following heavy rains. He explained how difficult it is for passengers to walk after arrival when it rains.

Murkomen calls out Larry Madowo

On Wednesday, April 17, Murkomen expressed his displeasure with Madowo’s comments, advising him against casting his home country in a poor light.

Referring to various incidents, including Madowo's prior remarks regarding flooding on Nairobi's Expressway, the Cabinet Secretary accused him of perpetuating a negative image of Kenya.

Additionally, the CS alleged that Madowo only began raising these issues after returning from travels abroad.
