Socialite Manzi wa Kibera has stated that her alleged romantic involvement with the deceased Samwel Ndunda Nzuki was not genuine.
Nzuki passed away on April 24 and was laid to rest on May 2.
Despite their joint claims in interviews and their affectionate videos and photos suggesting a romantic relationship, it has been disclosed that these were merely stunts for publicity.
In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Manzi wa Kibera admitted that their relationship was purely for show, aimed at generating online content.

She acknowledged Nzuka’s family and denied any real romantic connection.
"We were just creating content with him. It was not a real love relationship. I know he had a family and all I was doing was part of my online content," Manzi wa Kibera said.
She also refuted allegations of financial exploitation, asserting that she supported Nzuki by covering his rent and other bills, countering the narrative that she had misused his funds.
"I didn't squander his money. I was the one who was helping him. I used to pay his rent and send him money for minor expenses," the socialite said.
As we previously reported, former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko stood with Nzuki's family after his demise.
Chali wa Kibera, the manager of Manzi wa Kibera, posted a video on Instagram to update fans on the private funeral ceremony.
He also revealed that Sonko had contributed KSh 12,000 towards Nzuki's family.
Chali said the bereaved family had financial problems and thanked Sonko for his support.
Nzuki's family opted to keep the funeral private and consequently did not extend an invitation to the press.
Both Chali and Manzi wa Kibera were absent from the service, as they were not notified by Nzioki’s family.
