Vocal X influencer Maverick Aoko has expressed her stance against infidelity among women.
In an interview with comedian Oga Obinna, Aoko emphasised that betraying a devoted partner, particularly one who has fulfilled traditional marriage obligations like paying the bride price, is unjust.
She highlighted the irony of such actions while many women earnestly seek such committed relationships without success.

"Women are looking for husbands out here. Praying and fasting. Then you get a husband who is taking good care of you, and then you can cheat on the man. Especially one who has paid a bride price," Aoko said.
Aoko clarified that her views should not be misconstrued as condoning violence against women.
She believes fidelity is paramount, and if one is dissatisfied in a relationship, the honourable course is to leave, not to be unfaithful.
"It does not in any way mean that I am in support of femicide. I'm just saying that I will understand where a man is coming from in such a situation. So, if you're tired of this one, then walk away and settle with the one you think is better. But don't gallivant and you're still here," she added.
Previously, Aoko, who is loved and disliked in equal measure over her controversial posts on X, formerly Twitter, shared photos of her meeting with Oscar Sudi.
While referring to Sudi as "his highness", the vocal writer said the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) legislator had listened to her grievances.
Following the meeting, Aoko vowed to tone down her controversial posts, which saw her unleash unprintable words on certain politicians.
She promised that going forward, she would concentrate on working to benefit the ruling party and President William Ruto.
