Miguna Miguna Suffers Leg Injury After Accident: "My Tibia Was Fractured"

Nairobi: Lawyer Miguna Miguna says he is recuperating at home after an accident that left his left leg injured.

Miguna's recovery journey after accident

Kenyan netizens of goodwill were concerned after Miguna published a photo of his leg in the cast, with boots and crutches beside him.

Seeming to forego the pain, he hailed his doctor and friends for their input toward his recovery journey.

"Recovering from a fractured left foot. Thanks to all my orthopaedic surgeon, friends and compatriots," he said.

With scanty detail, the fiery lawyer sent another tweet explaining how he sustained the injury.

He said he was caught up in an accident that left his tibia injured thrice.

"Thanks to everyone who has wished me a quick recovery. I’m unable to identify everyone by name. For those asking what happened: I had an accident and fractured my tibia three times," said Miguna.

"The no-weight cast is to help with the healing; however, since one cannot fly in a cast (due to fluctuating cabin pressure), I’ll need the boot," he added.

Besides the leg injury, Miguna's woes seem to be all-round.

He recently decried being robbed of a mobile internet package he had purchased from Safaricom.

A frustrated Miguna wondered why the package, which was meant to last through a week, would run out two days after purchase.

He said the sudden depletion was akin to robbery, calling out the telecommunication giant for a supposed fraud.

The package in question was a weekly 3.5 gigabytes package.

Safaricom was, however, too quick to address the lawyer's plight.

In a follow-up tweet, Miguna revealed that representatives from the company contacted him and handled the matter.
