Authorities were alerted to the crime scene by neighbours who heard the altercation.
Upon arrival, they found Rashid with multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigations into the motive behind the deadly altercation are still ongoing, but initial reports indicate that it stemmed from a domestic conflict.
The woman is currently being held at the Likoni Police Station, where she awaits further legal proceedings.
The authorities have assured the public that justice will be served as they continue to investigate the case thoroughly.
In a previous story, TUKO.co.ke reported the High Court ruled in favour of a boda boda rider who had been accused of killing another identified as EMO.
Identified in the courtroom as COO, the boda boda rider killed EMO, whom he found in bed with his (COO's) wife.
COO had gone to a hospital to check on his sickly child when he found the wife missing.
He enquired about her whereabouts and discovered she had left the hospital for their marital home.
The woman told COO on the phone that she had returned home to look after their other child.
After spending hours in the hospital, COO rushed home, where he busted his wife with EMO in bed.
He attacked him, the court heard.
In her ruling, after considering the accounts of all eight witnesses in court, Justice Roselyn Aburili argued that the deceased pushed COO to the edge.
