A female student at the Multimedia University was left petrified when a monkey invaded her hostel room, devouring her snacks and causing chaos.

Recounting the ordeal, the student described feeling scared as the animal entered her room.

A video shared on the student's TikTok account, @_toggie, captured the monkey casually strolling through the room and rummaging through her belongings.
"You are an MMU student, and you open the window for fresh air," she captioned the video.
The footage also showed the monkey feasting on the students' snacks, adding to the chaos and distress the students were experiencing.
The incident sparked concerns among the community, with students expressing fear and unease over the presence of wild animals near their living quarters.
" The babooon only wanted someting to eat cause it didn't destroy anything. It later left," she further told TUKO.co.ke

In the aftermath of a particularly brutal attack at Multimedia University in Ongata Rongai, students took to the streets in protest.
The attack led to the disruption of learning, all other activities at the institution, and the tranquillity of the neighbourhood.
According to Radio 47, the incident, which occurred at 8pm. on Monday, February 5, left 21-year-old Kelvin Mwenda with severe injuries.
The protesting students, in their agitation, lit fires on Magadi Road, disrupting traffic and demanding that the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) address the issue of wildlife intrusion from Nairobi National Park into the university.
