Nairobi: Man Cheats Death After Guardrail Pierces Through His Car Along Redhill Road

Nairobi - In a harrowing incident along Waiyaki Way, a man narrowly escaped death after a car he was driving hit a guardrail.

The horrible crash occurred on Monday, May 20, along Redhill Road.

Though the cause of the accident has not been established, a video shared by Njoroge Muchiri Senior at the crash scene, showed the magnitude of the accident, as the car was extensively damaged.

What eyewitnesses of the Red Hill Road accident said

Eyewitnesses said the driver of the speeding car hit the guardrail, and it pierced through the vehicle.

"The car just rammed into this rail, and the rail went through the car. Apparently, the driver is okay, slightly miraculously," an eyewitness said.

Miraculously, the driver sustained minor injuries and bruises and went straight to the nearest hospital for treatment.

"The driver is safe. He only asked whether the vehicle is okay or not and walked away," another eyewitness said.

How Kenya died in an accident in Australia

In other news, a 29-year-old Kenyan man named Joel Kandie was killed on Princess Highway in Yallah Wollongong, Australia, while getting out of his car.

Alfred Koech, a Kenyan man based in Australia, told TUKO.co.ke that the incident occurred at 10 pm as Kandie was heading for a night shift.

According to Wavefm.com.au, the deceased had stepped out of his car to check on a busy M1 highway when he was hit by another vehicle.

Eyewitnesses narrated that Kandie had crashed his car into a concrete barrier on the highway, prompting him to get out.

As the young Kenyan stepped out, a speeding car struck him, killing him instantly.
