A photo of Ian Njoroge, the motorist who assaulted a traffic officer in Mirema in boxing gloves, has emerged.
Njoroge was arrested on Sunday, June 2, at his home in Jacaranda, Kayole just hours after beating up the police.
While being interrogated by the police, Njoroge was asked if he was involved in any form of martial arts training.

"Where did you train? So where exactly did you learn how to fight a police officer?" one officer asked.
Njoroge was quick to deny ever being trained in martial arts or any other form of fighting techniques.
A video circulating online appears to show that Njoroge lied to officers about never attending any fighting classes.
The photo shows him standing in front of a mirror with a cell phone in one hand and a boxing glove on the other.

Earlier, Njoroge offered his response following his arrest for assaulting and injuring a police officer at Mirema junction along Kamiti Road.
During questioning by police officers, Njoroge claimed that the officer demanded a substantial bribe from him.
According to the suspect, 19, they failed to reach an agreement when Jacob Ogendo entered his vehicle after he executed a U-turn, obstructing other motorists.
Consequently, Njoroge became enraged, retrieved a sword from beneath his seat, and pursued Ogendo.
