In one of the miraculous rescues, a baby of about one year was rescued from the scene with minor bruises on the face.
Photos of the young survivor were shared on Facebook by journalist Gwiji Josiah, who disclosed that he was part of the team caring for her.
"Thank God. You saved this minor. We have been looking for her at the scene after being thrown out of the Nissan matatu," he wrote.
In another accident on the same day, a Kajiado man cheated death after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a trailer carrying gas.
Forty-eight-year-old Geoffrey Gekara was thrown onto the left side of the road following the collision along the busy Nairobi-Namanga Road.
The gas being transported by the trailer began leaking, prompting a rapid response from the police and rescue team.
Gekara was rushed to St Paul's Hospital due to the severe head and body injuries he suffered in the accident.
