A budding Nigerian singer has set his sights on Kenya after releasing a star-studded Jiggy Forever album.
Who is Young Jonn?
John Saviours Udomboso, also known as Young Jonn, told TUKO.co.ke that the tour, planned for the second half of this year, was informed by the success of his singles Aquafina and Go Hard in East Africa.
“Kenya has proven to be a significant market for my music, and it’s about time I met my fans. I will also visit other countries in the region to encourage collaborations between their top talents and Afrobeat stars,” the 29-year-old told TUKO.co.ke.

Young Jonn, who cut his teeth as a producer for top Nigerian artistes at Chocolate City, shed light on the album.
“Jiggy Forever has 16 songs. It features songs like Hold On alongside Sean Paul, 50 Million with Nigeria’s Zlatan, and Fill My Tank with Don Jazzy.
I also enlisted French-based Congolese sensation Ya Levis for Maya Maya, a stylistic rendition detailing a young, whirlwind romance.”
Another collaboration is Big Big Things, featuring Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibes.
“This Album is special to me. I feel like most people don’t know who I am. They just have an idea.
But this project uncovers the real me. Each track is like a snapshot of life's roller coaster, touching on love, hustle, and finding my way in a world that sometimes feels upside down.”
Reflecting on his musical journey, which started in Ibadan, Young Jonn said he moved to Lagos in 2012, and his knack for music production helped him establish himself.
“In 2021, I inked a deal with Chocolate City, signalling my transition from producer to recording artiste.”
