Uasin Gishu—Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has rubbished United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party secretary general Cleophas Malala's warning to him.
In a notice on Wednesday, May 29, Malala called out a section of UDA members for what he said was disrespectful conduct.
The party boss said the outspoken lawmaker would be summoned for disciplinary action due to his recent actions.

Malala faulted Sudi for disrespecting the party's top leadership, to which Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua belongs.
"This behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated within the realms of our Party. Your recent conduct not only undermines the party's unity but also disrespects the leadership that you pledged to serve. Let this be a stern warning: desist from such actions with immediate effect. Should this behaviour persist, the party will take disciplinary action against you," read the statement in part.
In a quick retort moments after Malala issued the statement, Sudi told off the former senator as he belittled his authority.
Sudi pointed out Malala's past as Mahiakalo Ward's MCA, adding that he wasn't of the same calibre as former powerful Jubilee Party secretary general Raphael Tuju.
"Elevated MCA suffering from illusory superiority, thinking he matches Raphael Tuju's calibre." he wrote.
In other developments, Kapseret residents have faulted Sudi over his remarks that he hardly attends parliamentary sittings.
On Monday, May 28, some residents angrily called for Sudi's resignation, arguing that he had failed them.
They called on the lawmaker to stop moving around the country and participating in Harambee, yet his constituency was suffering.
Another resident said they had realised they had made a mistake in electing a leader who could not adequately represent them in the National Assembly.
