President William Ruto, during the tribute session, spoke of the late general as a role model for many Kenyans, including Rachel and his daughter Charleen, who managed to attend the event discreetly.
According to the head of state, his family attended the burial because the deceased Chief of Defence Forces was influential to them.
Ruto reassured the family of the government's full support and dedication to ensure that the late General Ogolla's defence plans were fulfilled.
General Ogolla was buried after three days according to his will.
Meanwhile, the fallen general's sister, Perez Ogolla, disclosed that her brother had mentioned three wishes to be performed upon his death.
Firstly, he wished to be buried after 72 hours and without a coffin so he could return to dust as fast as possible.
He also willed that his widow be taken on vacation by KDF officers after his passing.
