"Your government has decided to make me homeless. The best thing is, I removed the columns and sold them; I can't go at a loss twice. Otherwise, water is thicker than blood. Please find me a man so I can replace my mum's shamba; she didn't deserve this," said the rapper.

In the background, anxious people were seen going back and forth, trying to save their belongings and helping each other lift huge items such as water tanks.

Netizens who saw the video shared by the budding musician felt sorry for her family and wondered why the government was evicting them without giving them alternative places to live and rebuild their lives.

"Saddest day of my life rest in peace my home, we loved you, but the government loved you more," said Shekina.

Juliani's Hip Hop building demolished

In another story, Kenyan artiste Juliani's Hip Hop City building in Dandora was demolished on Monday, May 27.

The demolition was carried out because of the building's location near the river, following a government directive to clear all riverside structures.

The centre had been operating for over seven years, playing a crucial role in the community by supporting local youth and artists.

Juliani expressed his sorrow over the demolition, sharing a video of the event and commenting on the painful loss.
