How Sheila Wegesha died

On Thursday, May 9, Sheila's body was found sprawled on the bed, soaked in blood, in her house in Hill View Estate, Athi River.

Graphic shots shared online showed deep cuts on her neck, suggesting she was attacked using a sharp object.

The circumstances of the 38-year-old woman's death came as a great shock to those who knew her and her husband, given that they constantly and publicly displayed their affection.

Even as police continue to unravel the mysterious murder, a video posted by Sheila hours before she was murdered has emerged.

Which video did Sheila Wegesha post on TikTok?

Sheila posted the video on Wednesday, May 8, where she remembered what she had done on a similar day in 2023.

In the video seen by TUKO.co.ke, Sheila is taking photos outside a vehicle as an identified man sits calmly on the steering wheel.

In the shot clip, Sheila looked happy as Ohangla music played underground in the video that she captioned, "On this day.".

Less than 24 hours after she posted the throwback video, Sheila was found murdered in her bedroom.

Until her tragic death, Sheila was renowned among the Ohangla genre circles and jointly ran JB Lounge, an entertainment joint in Nairobi's Umoja area.
